  1. Good morning, I will be moving to Shubenacadie in November. I am currently a member of 3 quilt guilds in the Ottawa area. I would be interested in receiving more information on your guild.

    • Hi Nellie,
We would love for you to check out our guild. We meet every third Monday of the month (with the occassional exceptions) at the Woodlawn United Church (the map is at the top of the page).
We welcome every person come as a guest to get a feel for our Guild, and offer a reduced membership fee for anyone who joins after January.
We are organizing many fun workshops and programs for our meetings as well as hosting open sew days for anyone interested in attending.
For a list of our meeting dates, check out our “Upcoming Events & Workshops” page.

  2. I moved to Dartmouth last September and have finally unpacked enough to begin looking for a quilt Guild for the fall.
Do you always meet on Monday evenings? It is a night I do not have free.
If so, would you know of any other quilting groups in the city.

    Many thanks

    • Hi Lynn, we do always meet on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm. We have Sew Days twice a month and they are generally on Thursdays from 1-4. I don’t have dates yet for the fall Sew Days. If you’d like to email us at mayflowerquiltersguild@gmail.com I can provide some more information on those days as soon as I receive it.
