We also support other charitable donations such as Bravery Bead Bags. In 2016/2017 Mayflower Quilters Guild began making Bravery Bead Bags for the IWK Bravery Heart Bead Program. Since then we have supplied over 600 bags for the program. There are typically 100 children per year enrolled in Bravery Beads, where they receive beads to signify milestones/procedures etc. during their treatment at the IWK Children’s Hospital. The strung beads can then be kept in their own special bag.
